H&D Products was founded and registered in 1982 by Herb and Dottie West, hence the name, H&D.
 

Herb, a tool and die maker by trade, designed the injection molds used to form our products.
 

Dottie located the other materials such as the special hardener and epoxies required to obtain our finish and durability. She then set about with the tasks of measuring, weighing, mixing and finally painting these beautiful flags.
 

They sold the finished product wholesale, through distributors, to Marine Supply retailers such as Overton’s of Greenville, N.C., United Marine of Miami, and Falls City Boat Works of Louisville, KY., to name but a few.

In 2003 I returned to the States following a 20 year overseas assignment with my employer, a British based design company.
 

Retiring early, with a lousy pension, my goal was to find a small business to operate.

In August 2003 I purchased H&D from the West’s so they could ride off into the sunset in their motor home.

I have maintained accounts with the West’s distributors.

The goal of this web site is to establish an on-line retail business and to find more wholesale distributors.
